Max Barnard is an estranged individual with a penchant for obsessively collecting things he doesn't really need, leading him to amass many items over the years, be it Beast Wars action figures, CDs of anything in particular, Super Nintendo Videogames (evidence of his life in the Nintendo generation) and eventually, after a large gap of generally buying nothing but nintendo magazines, food and discworld novels, Manga.

And so began the last three years, of essentially getting any manga he can find, following very simple rules:

The cover must be interesting.
The title must make you want to buy it.

With these in mind Max believed he can find the perfect manga volume, and threw this in the face of anyone who would read his column on www.liveactionanime.org, a site he has been a regular forum member on for the last five years. After failing multiple times to kick off columns, Max now resides in the basement of the forum's production room, trying to finish THAT review of the Black Cat animé, which he really hates with a vengeance.

With that Max has become Noodles Loves You, and inbetween reviewing anything he can get his hands on, manages to make false promises on his livejournal and continues to be an active human being in the human world. That's right kids, it CAN be done!
